I’ve been writing more song lyrics lately.
Lyrics only, not the score.
To do that I will have to delve some more.
As it turned out it didn’t take so long.
I’ve decided to use AI,
To create the music for all my songs.

To use such a method would be my best choice,
To produce arrangements with a matching voice.
I’ll drop in my own lyrics it will be so cool,
To use AI as my creative tool.

Well as it happened I couldn’t have been more wrong.
To think that all who listen would be full of criticism.
Who’d have thought a remarkable tool with versatility,
Could create so much hostility.

To hear them talk this way, may bother me all day.
“You’re approaching this all wrong,
To use AI to construct your song”
“For it to have so much effect,
Is totally incorrect”

To ignore these remarks would be a better choice,
And to continue using AI to create my music with a voice.
But to give up this endeavor would take away all my pleasure.

My lyrics have been written with conviction and meaning;
Each time I read them back, I find them more appealing.

Here’s a message to all the doubters and disbelievers.
You may feel you have a right to criticize right now.
But the next time before you do,
You may want to stop and think a bit.
The words you question now,
Could well become my number one smash hit.
